Whitney Melendres | Costa Rica
Whitney, a BSSM graduate, has a heart for trafficked and at-risk youth in Costa Rica. She inherited a home in Costa Rica after her father passed away in 2010; Since 2012 Whitney has been building relationship with government agencies, national business people, and the home she inherited is presently set up as Costa Rica’s first safe home for children, rescued out of human trafficking, in cooperation with Salvando Corazones.

After learning that this safe house was the only rehab center in the entire region, Whitney decided to start a Creative Arts Center to give at risk youth a safe place to play, to dream, and to come alive.
Currently, Whitney lives in Redding, California and while developing her business plan for the Creative Arts Center, is finishing up a dual Bachelors in Business Management and Human Resources and makes about four trips a year to Costa Rica.
To give a voice to those who cannot speak, and stand up for the rights of those who are suffering, and in need.
